Transparency in Politics
Transparency isn’t just a key facet to trusting your elected leaders, it’s important for folks to realize that politics isn’t incomprehensible. Helping the people of Cary understand campaign finance is a great example of your inclusive leadership and communication ethos.
Not your typical politician
If you elect me to represent you, you won’t see a lot of perfectly posed photos of me shaking hands and kissing babies, or my perfectly decorated house on Christmas morning (mainly because that isn’t the real me). But you will get someone who is a hard worker, with a ton of energy, and a passion for public service.
Environmental Sustainability
If elected, I will weave environmental sustainability into the work I do every day on behalf of the citizens of Cary. Some ideas I have include:

I like managing massive projects. Whenever I see something that seems insurmountable like a deadline looming with over 20 stakeholders, my brain immediately goes to breaking down the timeframe for meeting deadlines, and how to best approach stakeholders for their pieces with clear communication.

I’ve lived in the Triangle since attending UNC-Chapel Hill in 1995. I moved to Raleigh, aka Cary adjacent, in 1999 upon graduation and stayed adjacent until I moved to Cary proper in 2014.
