I held my first fundraiser, Bubbles and Cupcakes, on Sunday and we had so much fun. The NC weather couldn’t have been better and attendees had some really great questions of council candidates and electeds that attended. Some key takeaways included:
This municipal election is VERY important. We need more like-minded individuals on council to push on issues like affordable housing, transportation, and a nondiscrimination ordinance
Election is going to be May 17, early voting starts April 28
If all democrats vote in this election, we can win the majority of the vote in both of these contested races for at-large and district C
EVERY VOTE MATTERS! In municipal elections, sometimes it comes down to a handful of voters deciding the election. Please vote!
Distric C voters pose for photo with candidates, Amanda Murphy and Carissa Johnson, and electeds, Maria Cervania, and Lori BushLots of great information sharing on why this municipal election is SO VERY important.Me being cheesy with my handpainted sign from Candice Davies, District C citizen!
I have been in the Triangle my entire career. I started out working alongside people who are now leaders of municipalities, heads of industry, and decision makers in their fields. My network is strong.
After work I’m typically raising two of the most creative, amazing kids I know. I also am a bit of a health enthusiast; biking and swimming are my favorites. I love reading stories, and coffee, lots of coffee.
