Putting the fun back in fundraising

Over the past couple of weeks my kiddos and I have been printing, labeling, folding, and stamping close to 100 fundraising letters. I dropped them off at the post office today and man, what a relief. To those of you who receive one, please be kind, my kids helped with labels. My kiddos labels were all straight, mine are the crooked ones.

I posted a video on Facebook recently about why candidates fundraise, if you missed the video, check it out on my page. I think this is the most important part of the video personally…

Where does your financial support go?

  • Yard Signs
  • Leave Behind Cards
  • State Board of Election Fee
  • Website
  • Business Cards
  • Mailers to Get Out the Vote

I had no idea how much work went into running a campaign, and I’m only at the tip of the iceberg as I recently found out my election isn’t going to be held until March 8, 2022. But I plan to educate all of you while educating myself on such things, and show you the process of campaigning, as much as I can. I want to encourage other non-political folks to take a chance on themselves and be the change you want to see in the world.

I have been in the Triangle my entire career. I started out working alongside people who are now leaders of municipalities, heads of industry, and decision makers in their fields. My network is strong. After work I’m typically raising two of the most creative, amazing kids I know. I also am a bit of a health enthusiast; biking and swimming are my favorites. I love reading stories, and coffee, lots of coffee.
